In the event of an inverter failure, system fault or lost generation, SolarCity offer a call out service for fault investigation and repairs. This service is available for both SolarCity customers and third party installations:
Replace generation meter
Replace AC or DC isolator
Re-set tripped MCB
Replace faulty or undersized MCB
Re-connect monitoring hardware to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
Inverter swap (inverter replaced under manufacturer’s warranty)
Optimiser swap (optimiser replaced under manufacturer’s warranty)
Supply, fit and set-up remote monitoring technology
Supply, fit and set-up Solar-edge optimised inverter system
Supply and fit smart immersion switch
Supply and fit stainless steel pest exclusion mesh
Upgrade to compliant mountings and cables
Remove solar PV array including all mountings and cables
Re-instate solar PV array using existing mountings and cables
Supply and fit consumer unit
Supply and fit RCBO consumer unit
